THUNDERCLAP! Is a unique artist with an indie edge only found in those who dare to go there. Since October 10th, THUNDERCLAP! Has been recording his first solo EP. So far, it’s an arrangement of violin, orchestral arrangements, and 2 different back up vocal groups who will completely knock your socks off!
“I’ve been so very lucky and honored to have guests like Bob Weisman (Blue Rodeo) and Dave Clark (The Rheostatics) contributing to my recording so far. I also have very special guests who are yet to be announced!” Says THUNDERCLAP! of his current campaign.
“This album is a concept album. It tells the story of a man who has nothing, whose ego is destroyed and is filled with crippling fear. He climbs out of his hole and relearns the lessons of how to get back on the top of his game. Through this tale, many elements of modern life and human psychology are explored. But most importantly, this is MY story, and I am so pleased to tell it.”
I expect that when his current EP comes out, it will be a brilliant mix of socioeconomic commentary, flashes of pop media, and surreal narrative brilliance! I’m very much looking forward to seeing what is in store for us in the future.
